She is a PCQI (Preventive Control Qualified Individual) and is HACCP certified. Following completion of MS in Botany (study of plants), her passion for food led her to also do MS in Food Science from the University of Alberta, Canada. She is highly motivated for vegan food manufacturing because she believes she can help people lead healthy lives.

Simply Vegan will prepare products with simple time tested ingredients. We do not choose ingredients based on how hard or easy it is to pronounce. We use ingredients that has been used for years.
For example, Asafetida is so hard to pronounce but is a very beneficial ingredient used in eastern culture for centuries in cooking especially beans. This is also used in Ayurveda as medicine to release gas.
